If I Were Told the Future: Test for Lesson 6

  1. The 24th chapter of the Gospel according to Matthew constitutes the link between the two main Bible prophetic books, which are:
    the book of Isaiah and the book of Revelation.

    «The moon will not give its light».
    «The stars will fall from heaven».
    «The sun will dance in the sky».

  8. The 24th chapter of the Gospel according to Matthew then goes on with a spectacular event: «Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in , and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with and great This is also the central event of the book of Revelation, as we will see in our lessons.

  9. Still according to the 24th chapter of the Gospel according to Matthew, this glorious event will be a rejoicing for believers, for «[the Son of Man] will send His with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will together His elect from the four winds, from one of heaven to the other.»

  10. Finally, in the 24th chapter of the Gospel according to Matthew, Jesus clearly shows the importance of recognizing the presence of the signs of the times: «So you also, when you see all these things, know that...»
    «... worldwide peace is near.»
    «... rebellious men will at last admit their error.»
    «... all the Churches will be united before God.»
    «... He is near, at the very doors.»
