Parallels Between
Daniel's Prophecies
Screen

Let's pray together:
O Lord God,
Now that we have a better understanding of the prophetic book of Daniel, we humbly ask You
to help us to grasp the rich parallels we can draw between the prophecies of this book.
In Jesus Christ our Savior we pray.
Amen.

Daniel 12:9,10
Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and
sealed till the time of the end.
Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and
none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.

Sealed for centuries, the book of Daniel now reveals its secrets to us who live
in «the time of the end».
We are invited not to imitate the wicked, who will not be able to understand the prophecy,
but rather to be wise, to have the intelligence to seek the Scriptures.

Daniel 8:1
In the third year of the reign of King Belshazzar a
vision appeared to me - to me, Daniel - after the one that appeared to me the first time.

Daniel 10:14
Now I have come to make you understand what will happen
to your people in the latter days, for the vision refers to many days yet to come.

A careful reading of the book of Daniel reveals that there are close links
between the prophecies of this book.
Let's try to find those links, those parallels between the prophecies we have studied in
our last four lessons.

Daniel 12:3,4
Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the
firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.
But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many
shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.

We indeed live in the last days: the book of Daniel is therefore no longer
sealed for those who take the time to study it.
Now it is up to us to share the treasures we find in it with the people around us.

Let's pray:
Our Father,
The study of some of the prophecies of the book of Daniel has been a rich source of
blessings for each one of us.
May this study lead us to entrust our life to Your care, You who see the future as clearly
as the past.
Please show us which choices we need to make today, so that our future may not hold for us
bad surprises that would bring about ill-fated and eternal consequences.
We thank You for Your continuous presence. In Jesus Christ we pray.
Amen.
