  1. The book of Daniel is one of the basic works to understand Bible prophecy. This book begins with the invasion of Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon. In which year does the action take place?
    In 606 B.C.
    In 331 B.C.
    In 168 B.C.

The prophecy of the four mythical beasts.
The prophecy of the 2300 days.
The prophecy of the two witnesses.
The prophecy of the 70 weeks.

  4. The historical section of the book of Daniel relates events which are mentioned in the New Testament, such as the deliverance from the fiery , and the deliverance from the den.

  5. The New Testament also refers to the prophetic section of the book of Daniel. In fact, in the Gospel according to Matthew, Jesus Himself says, «When you therefore shall see the of , spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, whoever reads, let him

  6. The book of Daniel reports that some prophetic informations were passed on to Daniel by an angel sent by God. This same angel also appears in the Gospel according to Luke. What is his name?
    Azazel.
    Raphael.
    Uriel.
    Gabriel.

  7. The book of Daniel announces the coming of a man who is described as follows: «The king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every , and shall speak marvelous things against the of gods.» Now, in his Second Epistle to the Thessalonians, Paul repeats this prophecy, announcing the coming of «the man of sin (...), the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called , or that is worshipped; so that he as God sits in the temple of God, showing himself that he is

  8. On several occasions, the book of Daniel announces the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. In the Gospel according to Matthew, Jesus Himself describes His return using Daniel’s exact expressions, among which we find the following ones (check off all the right answers):
    «The Son of man».
«Coming in the clouds of heaven».
    «The sun shall be darkened».
«The moon shall be turned into blood».

  9. A careful study of the prophetic section of Daniel reveals close links between the prophecies of this book, showing that they often describe the very same events. Among the following list, indicate the element which is not found in at least three prophecies of the book of Daniel:
A powerful kingdom divided into four parts.
A haughty and proud king persecuting God’s people.
Worldwide peace after an alliance between all Churches.
God Himself putting an end to the reign of a haughty king.
