Parallels Between Daniel’s Prophecies

In order to check your understanding and your progress in the study of the Word of God, we invite you to fill out this short test and return it to us. The correct answers will be sent back to you as soon as possible.

A mark of 70% or better will allow you to submit the test of Lesson 21. Upon the completion of the entire Bible course If I Were Told the Future, you will receive a Certificate of Achievement.


If I Were Told the Future: Test for Lesson 20

  1. At the end of his life, the prophet Daniel received this message, reported in his book as follows, «Go your way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the . Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly. And none of the wicked shall ; but the wise shall So the book of Daniel now reveals its secrets to every sincere and serious Bible student.

  2. In one of the last prophecies of the book of Daniel, God’s angel says, «Now I am come to make you what shall befall your people in the latter days: for yet the is for many days.» A careful reading of the book of Daniel reveals that there are close links between the prophecies of this book.

  3. Among the parallels that can be established between the prophecies of Daniel, we find the following ones (check off all the right answers):
    The prophecies cover a long period of History.
    The prophecies cover a short period of History.
    The prophecies take no interest in political powers.
    The prophecies describe succeeding political powers.

  4. The prophecies of the book of Daniel foretell that the second universal Empire would be:

  10. Finally, all the prophecies of the book of Daniel lay stress on the following point:
    Prophecy shall never be understood.
    The study of prophecy is completely futile.
    Many interpretations of the message are possible.
    The message of prophecy is true.
