If I Were Told the Future - Test 46

Inauguration of the Kingdom of God

In order to check your understanding and your progress in the study of the Word of God, we invite you to fill out this short test and return it to us. The correct answers will be sent back to you as soon as possible.

A mark of 70% or better will allow you to submit the test of Lesson 47. Upon the completion of the entire Bible course If I Were Told the Future, you will receive a Certificate of Achievement.

If I Were Told the Future: Test for Lesson 46

  1. At the sound of the seventh trumpet of Revelation, loud voices in heaven solemnly declare, «The of this world are become the of our , and of His , and He shall for ever and ever!» What a wonderful day it will be for God’s people!

  2. The Gospel according to Matthew and the Gospel according to John both state the same fact: at the present time, the kingdoms of the earth belong to...
    ... God.
    ... the twenty-four elders.
    ... mankind.
    ... Satan.

  3. In the seventh trumpet of Revelation, how do the twenty-four elders describe God?
«Lord God Almighty, who are and who are to come.»
«Lord God Almighty, who are and who were.»
«Lord God Almighty, who were and who are to come.»
«Lord God Almighty, who were and are and are to come.»

  4. The answer to the preceding question, that is, the title given to God by the twenty-four elders, indicates that the seventh trumpet of Revelation coincides with the following event:
The signing, by political leaders, of a worldwide peace treaty.
The union of all religions through ecumenism.
    A worldwide nuclear war.
    The glorious return of Jesus.

  5. The book of Revelation says that «in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished.» Now, the apostle Paul, in his First Epistle to the Corinthians and his Epistle to the Colossians, indicates that «the mystery of God» is:
the secret meaning of Bible prophecy.
the precise date of the end of the world.
the gift of eternal life to those who are faithful to Jesus.
    the origins of the Universe.

  6. The content of one of the Psalms is very closely linked to the message of the seventh trumpet of Revelation. This Psalm even gives a serious warning to the nations, calling them to follow Jesus, before His wrath bursts out at the time of His return. What is that Psalm?
    Psalm 2.
    Psalm 23.
    Psalm 51.
    Psalm 119.

  7. At the sound of the seventh trumpet of Revelation, an impressive scene is presented. The temple of God is opened in heaven, and then the following item is seen in His temple:
    the altar of incense.
    the altar of burnt offering.
    the ark of the covenant.
    the seven-branch candlestick.

  8. The answer to the preceding question is very interesting, because the message of the seventh trumpet of Revelation is closely linked with a reward offered to «them that fear God’s name.» But what is the link between the fear of God and this item of the heavenly sanctuary? The book of Ecclesiastes answers, «Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: God, and keep His , for this is the whole of man.»

  9. The wrath of God, taking place at the sound of the seventh trumpet of Revelation, will be expressed by one of the following events. Which one?
    The pouring-out of seven plagues.
    A Millennium of peace.
    The Last Judgment.
Death in the lake of fire.

  10. Finally, the inauguration of God’s eternal kingdom, at the sound of the seventh trumpet of Revelation, is also announced many times in the book of the prophet Daniel, as we can see in this passage: «In the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be : and the kingdom shall not be to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these , and it shall stand
