But the book of Revelation chapter 13 announces what follows, «And [the beast] causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right , or in their .» By comparing this verse with the one quoted in the preceding question, we understand that the mark of the beast is opposed to the of God.

The Scriptures say that God blessed the seventh day, the Sabbath. This is important information, since the First Book of the Chronicles states, «For You bless, O Lord, and it shall be blessed .» Likewise, the book of Ecclesiastes adds, «I know that, whatever God does, it shall be . Nothing can be put to it, nor any thing from it.»

Finally, in the book of Isaiah, God gives us this wonderful promise, «If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your on My holy day; and call the Sabbath a , the holy of the Lord, honorable; and shall honor Him, not doing your own , nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own : then shall you delight yourself in the Lord. And I will cause you to ride on the high places of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father.»
