If I Were Told the Future - Test 76

The Loud Cry

In order to check your understanding and your progress in the study of the Word of God, we invite you to fill out this short test and return it to us. The correct answers will be sent back to you as soon as possible.

A mark of 70% or better will allow you to submit the test of Lesson 77. Upon the completion of the entire Bible course If I Were Told the Future, you will receive a Certificate of Achievement.

If I Were Told the Future: Test for Lesson 76

  1. The loud cry is the powerful final call to salvation sent out to all the inhabitants of the earth, shortly before Jesus’ return. The book of Revelation summarizes the message of this loud cry as follows, «Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen! (...) Come of her, My , that you be not partakers of her , and that you receive not of her

  2. The message of the loud cry corresponds to the message of one of the three angels in Revelation chapter 14. Which one?
    The first angel.
    The second angel.
    The third angel.

  3. The first part of the message of the loud cry, as described in the book of Revelation, reports the fall of Babylon. What does Babylon symbolize?
All the nations of the earth.
    False prophets.
The angels of the great dragon.
The coalition of apostate churches in the last days.

  4. The experience of the remnant Church, at the time of the loud cry, is foreshadowed by the work of prophetic characters found in the book of Revelation, whom we studied in a previous lesson. Who are these prophetic characters?
    The two witnesses.
    The four beasts.
    The four angels of destruction.
    The twenty-four elders.

  5. The loud cry of Revelation chapter 18 will proclaim a very unpopular message. God knows that He will have to strengthen His people bearing bad news. To do so, God will have recourse to...
    ... the shaking.
    ... the close of probation.
    ... the latter rain.
    ... the seven last plagues.

  6. The Scriptures present many situations in which God warned His people, before carrying out a mass destruction of men. Among these warnings, we find the following ones (check off all the right answers):
    The announce of the Flood.
The announce of Sodom and Gomorrah’s destruction.
The announce of wicked men’s destruction, in the days of Moses.
The announce of Jerusalem’s destruction, in A.D. 70.

  7. The loud cry of Revelation chapter 18, calling people, for a very last time, to respond to God’s invitation to salvation, will be very successful. The book of Isaiah reports this mass response to God’s final offer of salvation: «Behold, you shall a nation that you not, and nations that not you shall to you because of the Lord your God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for He has glorified you.»

  8. How does the book of Revelation designate the group of those who will respond to the message of the loud cry?
    «The 144,000.»
    «The great multitude.»
    «The ten virgins.»
    «The remnant Church.»

  9. According to the prophetic word, which event will take place shortly after the loud cry of Revelation chapter 18?
A worldwide nuclear war that will destroy the earth.
The secret rapture of the Christians.
The signing, by political leaders, of a worldwide peace treaty.
    The return of Jesus Christ.

  10. The Second Epistle of Paul to the Corinthians reminds us that we must make sure that we are entirely free from Babylon, as we prepare ourselves for the thrilling experience of the loud cry. This same epistle then adds, «Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us ourselves from all of the flesh and spirit, perfecting in the fear of God.» It is now up to us to respond to this invitation from God.
