If I Were Told the Future - Test 98

Introduction to the Three Angels’ Message

In order to check your understanding and your progress in the study of the Word of God, we invite you to fill out this short test and return it to us. The correct answers will be sent back to you as soon as possible.

A mark of 70% or better will allow you to submit the test of Lesson 99. Upon the completion of the entire Bible course If I Were Told the Future, you will receive a Certificate of Achievement.

If I Were Told the Future: Test for Lesson 98

  1. At the end of time, God will give rise to a group of faithful believers, to preach a final warning message to the whole world. How does the book of Revelation designate this group of faithful believers?
    «The 144,000.»
    «The 24 elders.»
    «The great multitude.»
    «The four beasts.»

  2. God’s final message is brought by three angels, found in the book of Revelation chapter 14. The word «angel», coming from the Greek «aggelos», means:
    «Judge.»
    «Messenger.»
    «Winged being.»
    «Perfect servant.»

  3. The basis of the three angels’ message is presented as follows in the book of Revelation: «And I saw another angel fly in the middle of heaven, having the everlasting to preach to them that on the earth.» This message is therefore God’s offer of salvation in Jesus Christ, given for a very last time to every human being here on earth.

  4. According to many passages of the Bible, to whom did God entrust the holy mission of proclaiming the gospel to the whole world?
    Spiritual leaders.
    Religious communities.
    Christian Churches.
    Each believer.

  5. Revelation chapter 14 says that the three angels’ message will be announced «to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people». We find these same categories of people in Revelation chapter 13: this demonstrates that God’s last message will aim at...
... uniting all the Churches on earth.
... bringing political leaders to sign a worldwide peace treaty.
... denouncing the apostasy which will soon strike the whole world.
... avoiding a worldwide nuclear war.

  6. The book of Revelation chapter 14 presents the triple message that the remnant Church must proclaim throughout the world. This triple message contains all the following elements, except one. Which one?
    The coming of God’s judgment.
    The fall of Babylon.
The need of uniting all the Churches on earth.
The warning not to worship the beast.

  7. An amazing parallel can be established between Daniel chapter 7 and Revelation chapters 13 and 14. According to this parallel, the proclamation of the three angels’ message corresponds with the following event:
The reign of the little horn.
God’s judgment in the heavenly sanctuary.
    The beast’s deadly wound.
    The glorious return of Jesus.

  8. The beast rising from the sea, described in Revelation chapter 13, is a combination of the four pagan kingdoms listed in Daniel chapter 7. In fact, the beast rising from the sea displays the same number of heads and horns as all the beasts symbolizing the four kingdoms of Daniel 7, that is...
    ... 7 heads and 10 horns.
    ... 10 heads and 7 horns.
    ... 7 heads and 7 horns.
    ... 10 heads and 10 horns.

  9. According to our study of the books of Daniel and Revelation, when did the proclamation of the three angels’ message to the whole world begin?
    In 1798.
    In 1844.
    In 1914.
    In 1945.

  10. Finally, through the three angels’ message, God warns each one of us against Satan’s traps in the last days. The First Epistle of Paul to Timothy says, «For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our , who will have all men to be , and to come to the knowledge of the So let’s give heed to the three angels’ message, while there’s still time to do so.
