According to the Bible, when will the punishment of
the wicked take place?
During their life here below.
Immediately after their death.
At the end of times.
There won't be any punishment of the wicked.
According to the Bible, where will the punishment of
the wicked take place?
In heaven.
On earth.
In the depths of the earth.
There won't be any punishment of the wicked.
To suffer eternally, the wicked would have to be immortal.
Now, the First Epistle of John says: «No
has life abiding in him.» And the same Epistle also says: «He who does the of God abides .»
According to the Word of God, what will the final lot of
the wicked be?
They will be reincarnated in another body,
to improve themselves.
They will be forgiven, and will live forever
with the righteous.
They will suffer the eternal torments of
Hell.
They will be completely and definitively
destroyed.
The answer to the preceding question is confirmed by the
prophet Malachi , who describes the final lot of the wicked
this way: «You shall the wicked, for they shall be
under the soles of your feet.» Likewise, the prophet Isaiah
says: «[They] shall be as , as a thing.»
The expressions «everlasting punishment» and «eternal
judgment» are sometimes presented as meaning «everlasting sufferings». Yet, the book of
Psalms tells us this about God: «His
anger is but for a .» And the prophet Isaiah adds this, concerning God's judgment:
«With the breath of His lips He shall the wicked.»
The expression «everlasting fire» is also presented as
meaning «everlasting sufferings in the fire of Hell». Yet, the Epistle
of Jude says that two cities have suffered «the vengeance of
eternal fire». What is the name of these two cities?
Tyre and Sidon.
Gog and Magog.
Sodom and Gomorrah.
Babylon and Niniveh.
The word «forever» doesn't necessarily mean
«eternally». Indeed, the First Book of Samuel clearly shows
the meaning of the word «forever»: «I will not go up until the
child is weaned; then I will take him, that he may appear before the Lord and remain there
. (...) As long as he he shall be lent to the Lord.»
According to the Word of God, what will the final lot of
Satan be?
He will manage Hell, where the wicked suffer
forever and ever.
He will become Lucifer again, and will obey
God throughout eternity.
He will be annihilated forever.
He will be banished forever on a distant
planet.
After the carrying out of the Last Judgment, the Word of
God indicates what will happen to death itself. The prophet Isaiah
tells us: «[The Lord] will up death
forever.» And the apostle Paul, in the First Epistle to the
Corinthians , confirms the same thing by saying: «The last
enemy that will be is death.»
