The gift of evangelism is the special ability that God gives to certain members of the body of Christ to share the gospel with unbelievers in such a way that men and women become Jesus’ disciples and responsible members of the body of Christ.

communicate the message of the Bible with clarity and conviction;
have the ability to insert spiritual truths into normal conversation with unsaved people, and the ability to sense the timing of when to do so;
challenge unbelievers to faith and to become fully devoted followers of Christ;
adapt the presentation of the gospel to connect with the individual’s needs;
have the ability to converse easily with strangers and people of short acquaintance.

are often planting seeds and can get discouraged when they are not seeing a harvest from their evangelism efforts;

need to listen carefully, because the same approach is not appropriate for everyone.
