Each player selects his/her own difficulty level, which makes for much closer games! Then the game starts.
In turn, each player receives a Bible verse, and must find the Bible reference for this verse. Points are awarded for each correct answer: a few points for the book, more for the chapter, and even more for the verse! It is possible to ask for a hint, but it will cost precious points...
The computer then gives the correct answer, and displays the player's score. The game is enlivened with a comment related to the verse, making you smile or giving food for thought.
At the end of the game (20 verses for each player), a summary table presents the performance of each player. It will be possible, then, to review any of the 20 Bible verses, to further memorization.
Who knows? Your result may appear in our high scores, according to your difficulty level, of course.
The Bible version used in «Bible in Mind» is the American King James Version.
To run «Bible in Mind», you need:
| A PC computer (386/25 or higher). |
| 4 MB of memory (RAM). |
| A VGA monitor or better. |
| A mouse. |
| 3.6 MB of disk space. |
| Windows® 3.0 or later, or Windows® 95 or later. |
You will download the file WBIMAKJV.EXE. It is a compressed self-extractible file. Double-click on this file, and the files will be unzipped in a temporary directory named: \Temp\Bim
Once the files are unzipped, double-click on the file SETUP.EXE (this file will be placed in the temporary directory \Temp\Bim). This will launch the installation of the game.
Important: Please install the program in a new directory, not in the temporary directory that was used to unzip the files.
When the installation is completed, double-click on the icon to start the game «Bible in Mind».
A French version of this game is available.
